It would be great if we could have a list of free courses with certificates from Linkedin Learning as it is really difficult to find out by opening each course manually o ly to see that either we need to buy the course or to download the certificate we need to have Linkedin Premium.

Note: Apart from this, there are many courses for which watching content is free but in order to download certificate premium subscription is needed or free trial. And of course there are many courses for which watching video content also requires paid subscription or free trial one (initial a few preview videos are available for free)

Alison offers free coding classes online with certificates in a variety of subjects. Its technology/IT category includes hundreds of free online coding classes covering topics like network and security, software tools, software engineering, hardware, data science, game development, and more. Alison currently has over 2,000 free courses available.

Tons of free programming tutorials, as well as paid options like actual programming courses. Has over 1,290+ expertly-instructed video courses (on all topics, not just computer-related). Also publishes eBooks.

This post covers everything you need to consider when choosing a free data analytics course, before rounding up the best options available. If you want to jump straight to our selection of free data analytics courses, just use the clickable menu to head to section four.

OK, so we know what data analytics is. How can you learn more? Trying out a free data analytics course is a great way of dipping a toe in the water to see if you want to dive deeper. But there are several important differences between free courses and paid programs that you should know about.

The intention of a free course is usually to provide a high-level introduction to see if a full program is worth forking out for. Short courses are perfect for getting an all-around taste of the subject. Meanwhile, a full program (at least, a good one!) will equip you with all the tools you need to pursue a data analytics career.

Lastly, Dataquest. Another data-specific course provider, they offer a wide selection of hands-on data science courses. While Dataquest has a monthly subscription model, you can access some of their content for free, including practice problems.

When I first started learning data science and machine learning, I began (as a lot do) by trying to predict stocks. I found courses, books, and papers that taught the things I wanted to know, and then I applied them to my project as I was learning. I learned so much in such a short period of time that it seems like an improbable feat if laid out as a curriculum.

freeCodeCamp's Python course covers writing code in a text editor versus an integrated development environment (IDE) like PyCharm. Learners explore variables and data types, working with strings and numbers, if statements, and comparisons.

Udemy has an extensive collection of courses on a variety of subjects, including Python. They offer both free and paid lessons suitable for beginners to experts. If you are looking for video-based tutorials, Udemy is among the best places.

We including video lectures, when available an R markdown document to follow along, and the course itself. Note that you must be logged in to EdX to access the course. Registration is free. We also include links to the course pages.

Setting up your Python environment for performing data analysis is relatively simple. The most convenient way to go about this is to download the free Anaconda package from Continuum Analytics, as it contains the core Python language, as well as all of the essential libraries including NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, Matplotlib, and IPython. By using the graphical installer, downloading Python is as easy as downloading any computer program.

All of the material and exercises are written in Jupyter Notebooks, which you will be able to download. This allows you to read the notes, run the code, and write solutions to the exercises all in a single place. Additionally, the full contents of the course are available as a 150-page document giving you access to the material from anywhere.

This Python course contains all the Python basics from installation to advanced stuff like Python data science. This Python programming tutorial helps you to learn Python free with Python notes and Python tutorial PDF. These Python tutorials will help you learn the basics of Python.

In January 2014, Stanford University professors Trevor Hastie and Rob Tibshirani (authors of the legendary Elements of Statistical Learning textbook) taught an online course based on their newest textbook, An Introduction to Statistical Learning with Applications in R (ISLR). I found it to be an excellent course in statistical learning (also known as "machine learning"), largely due to the high quality of both the textbook and the video lectures. And as an R user, it was extremely helpful that they included R code to demonstrate most of the techniques described in the book.

As a supplement to the textbook, you may also want to watch the excellent course lecture videos (linked below), in which Dr. Hastie and Dr. Tibshirani discuss much of the material. In case you want to browse the lecture content, I've also linked to the PDF slides used in the videos.
